The LGPRA is a national organisation representing media, communications, marketing events and public relations professionals, working in Local Government, across Australia.

The group had its origins as the NSWLGPRA, established in 1991. The aim was to provide communications practitioners working in local government with networking and development opportunities. The National Association builds on these ideals.

In 2003 the Association expanded and we invite professionals from all states to become members and work together to improve the professional experience and expertise in our industry.
